Healthy Brain Initiative (HBI) Road Map Module

The HBI Road Map Module is designed to support public health agencies in identifying priorities and taking action towards improving dementia and caregiving as guided by the CDC’s Healthy Brain Initiative (HBI) Road Map Series (for State and Local Partners and for Indian Country). State public health agencies are well primed to integrate the 25 actions outlined within the Road Map for State and Local Partners. The required content will provide you with an overview of the HBI Road Map for State and Local partners and an action planning template. Learners will be able to:

·       Build familiarity with the HBI Road Map and the public health actions to address dementia and caregiving.

·       Identify resources to support implementation of the HBI Road Map actions.

The module is divided into required and support content. You will need to watch the required content to unlock the action planning guide and support content. We recommend engaging with at least one (1) of the tools in the support content, based on your current understanding of the HBI Road Map.
